Jeffrey Alvey, M.A., RPA

Jeffrey Alvey has served as Director of the Cobb Institute’s Office of Public Archaeology since its inception in 2004. He received his master’s degree in applied anthropology from MSU in 2003, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in anthropology at the University of Missouri, Columbia.
Derek Anderson, M.A.
Outreach Coordinator and Museum Manager
Derek Anderson is a North American archaeologist who specializes in the Paleoindian period, with research focused on the analysis of lithic artifacts and faunal remains from archaeological sites. Derek received his master's degree in Anthropology from the University of Wyoming in 2007.

Keith Baca, M.A., RPA
Curator of Research Collections and Project Manager
Keith Baca has directed surveys and excavations for the Office of Public Archaeology since 2008, and is curator of the Cobb Institute’s North American research collections. Keith received his master’s degree in applied anthropology from MSU in 2008.
